Routines for parents
Where parents find their gymnast's routines in Gym TeamHub, how to read the estimated start value, and what families can change.
If your gym uses Routines, your gymnast's planned routines are on the Routines tab — in the sidebar on the web, and under More in the app. It carries a Beta tag while it's still changing.
What you'll see
Your gymnast's routines, event by event. With more than one gymnast linked to your account, a switcher at the top picks between them. Each routine shows:
- its name, with a Competition routine badge on the one for meets;
- its scoring template, or "Typed start value";
- its estimated start value;
- when it was last edited, and by whom.
Open a routine to read it: the skills in order with their value letters, What's missing, and How it adds up. What the numbers mean explains each part.
It's an estimate
The number is worked out by the app from the values entered. It's a planning number: judges set the official start value at the meet.
What you can change
Families can build and edit their own gymnast's routines too — New routine, Edit routine, Use for competition and Delete routine all work for you as they do for the coaches. See Building a routine.
Their coach usually builds these, and whoever saves last is what's kept — so check with the coach before changing one of theirs.
Note
You see only your own gymnast's routines, and other families can't open your gymnast's. Your gym decides whether families see Routines at all — if the tab isn't there, it's either off for your gym or not shared with families.
Common questions
It says "No gymnast linked"
Routines follow the link between your account and your gymnast on the roster. The screen says: "Ask your gym to link your gymnast to your account."
It says "No active gymnast"
The screen says: "Routines are for gymnasts with an active status. Ask your coach if yours should be active." Active is the gymnast's status on the roster.
