Privacy and notifications
What GymTeamHub shows about you and what it tells you — contact-info privacy toggles and per-feature notification controls.
Two sets of switches control your day-to-day experience: what other members can see about you, and what the app taps you on the shoulder about.
Privacy (parents)
From the hub's Settings page, parents control their own visibility:
- Email and phone — whether other members see your contact info.
- Gymnast's level — whether other families see your gymnast's level on the roster.
- Gymnast's birthday — whether your gymnast's birthday shows to others (this overrides the hub's calendar-birthdays setting for your family).
Notification controls
Choose which features notify you — Messages, Groups, Calendar, Meets & Camps, Scores, Skills, Assignments, Marketplace, Resources, and (for staff) Staff Tasks and Certification reminders. Turn off what you don't want; badges and feed entries follow the same choices. On the web these toggles live behind the notification bell's settings; in the app, under Settings → Notifications.
Coaches & staff
Staff also get quiet hours — push notifications pause outside the hours you set, with an optional auto-reply to direct messages while you're off the clock.
Tip
Don't turn everything off the first noisy week — trim feature by feature. Messages plus Calendar covers "never miss what matters" for most parents.
