Goals
Athlete goal setting in GymTeamHub — goals with target dates, subgoals to check off along the way, and the current goal on your dashboard.
The Goals tab on a gymnast's profile turns "I want my kip by regionals" into something trackable: a goal, a date, and the steps along the way.
Setting a goal
- Open the gymnast's profile → Goals.
- Add a goal — short-term ("straight legs on casts by March") or season-sized ("qualify for Regionals") — with an optional target date.
- Break it into subgoals — the smaller checkable steps that add up to the big one.
Tracking
Check off subgoals as they land, and mark the goal complete when it's done. The current goal also shows on the parent dashboard's gymnast card, so it stays in view between gym days.
Parents
Goals work best written with your gymnast — the tab is a shared space between the family and the athlete, and the coaching staff can see what she's working toward.
Tip
A goal with a date and three subgoals beats a wish. "Get better at beam" can't be checked off; "connect the series in three consecutive practices" can.
