Polls, RSVPs, and sign-ups

Interactive group posts in GymTeamHub — run a poll, collect RSVPs, or fill a volunteer sign-up list without leaving the feed.

For: Everyone

Three kinds of group posts collect answers instead of comments. All three live in the post composer and tally responses right in the feed — no external forms, and everyone can see where things stand.

Polls

Ask a question with fixed options — "Which leo design?", "Pizza or subs?" — and members vote with a tap. Results display as a live tally in the post.

RSVPs

Attach an RSVP to a post about an event and members answer whether they're coming. The counts sit in the post, so the organizer isn't chasing replies.

Sign-up lists

The workhorse for volunteer coordination: post a list of slots — "concessions 9–11", "bring paper plates" — and members claim them. Everyone sees which slots are taken and which still need a name, so nothing gets double-covered or missed.

Coaches & staff

The gap these fill: a poll decides something, an RSVP counts heads, a sign-up assigns specific responsibilities. For meet-weekend volunteer coordination, the sign-up list is usually the one you want.

Tip

Sign-up and RSVP responses are visible to the group, which is the point — social proof fills slots, and a half-full sign-up list recruits better than an empty inbox. (Polls are the configurable one: a setting hides the tally until someone has voted.)
