Receiving announcements
How GymTeamHub announcements reach you — dashboard cards, acknowledgement overlays, expiration, and what to do with each.
Announcements are how your gym broadcasts the things everyone (or a targeted slice of everyone) needs to know — schedule changes, meet reminders, season news. They come to you — each one opens on screen when you enter the hub.
Where they appear
A new announcement opens as an overlay the next time you open the hub — title, message, and any links the staff attached. Once you've responded, you can revisit past announcements anytime in your hub Settings → Announcements history. Announcements can also carry an expiration, so old news stops appearing on its own.
Acknowledgement announcements
Some announcements require acknowledgement — the overlay stays until you acknowledge, so the gym knows you saw it. One tap and you're through; the staff can see who has and hasn't acknowledged.
Announcements that don't require acknowledgement show a Dismiss option instead — read and close.
Questionnaires
An announcement can also ask you questions — multiple choice or free text — answered right inside the overlay. See Questionnaires.
Parents
Not every announcement goes to everyone: staff can target by role or level, so you may hear about a Level 5 schedule change that other parents never see. If another parent mentions an announcement you didn't get, it probably wasn't aimed at you.
