Placement reports
GymTeamHub Placement Reports — the season-transition report telling each family where their gymnast is placed, with a hub-configurable disclaimer.
A Placement Report answers the season's biggest family question — "where is my kid moving?" — in writing, one report per gymnast.
Creating placement reports
- For one athlete: the chevron on Create Report offers Placement Report.
- For the whole season transition: Batch Placements generates placement reports for multiple athletes at once — pick the destination level, choose the athletes moving there, and review. Run it once per destination.
Each report states the gymnast's placement for the coming season, with the coach's comments alongside.
The disclaimer
Placement conversations are sensitive, so every placement report can carry a standing disclaimer — "placements are based on skill readiness and are at the coaching staff's discretion," in your gym's own words. Set it once in the placement report settings and it pre-fills into every new report; you can still adjust it per report.
Publishing
Like all reports, placements are drafts until published — publish when the decisions are final, and each family is notified about their own gymnast's report. Families only ever see their own placement.
Tip
Publish placement reports before families hear level assignments secondhand — the report frames the decision with the skill data behind it, which is a far better first impression than a group-chat rumor.
